"World & Education" is a foundation based in Zurich, Switzerland founded by Olga Alexandre in 2020. The Foundation serves to promote and support mother tongue education, optimal sustainable development and equal opportunities for children, youth and adults, predominantly from multicultural families, bi-ethnic marriages or with a migrational background.

THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES CROSS-CULTURAL EXCHANGE, SUPPORTS THE NATIVE CULTURE AND LANGUAGE OF EXPATS CHILDREN, AS WELL AS PROMOTING BETTER INTEGRATION IN SWITZERLAND
The Foundation’s activities act as a linking cultural intermediary for various European countries.
The Foundation accomplishes its mission through its own educational institutions or by supporting non-profit organisations for the same purpose.

WORLD & EDUCATION
Creates educational programs for children in their own language and provides an opportunity to preserve their own culture and discover the culture of other children in order to develop their social skills and interest in cultural exchange. We believe that all Children must learn to be ready to interact with, respect and accept other cultures.
WORLD & EDUCATION
Creates curricula for children and teaches them how to learn the state languages, French or Swiss-German in our local culture, in order to promote the integration of the younger generation and its successful development into Swiss schools.
WORLD & EDUCATION
Provides support with intercultural play groups and youth development and employment centres in Switzerland, as well as after-school groups for children and adolescents of migrants and children from mixed families aged from 1.5 years to 14 years.

Creates platforms and youth forums, making it possible for young people with a migration background to participate in creative and intercultural projects, so that these young people have the opportunity to introduce their peers to their culture and to learn other traditions of different cultures.

DIPLOMACY OF THE FUTURE

The goal of the project is to show young people that the qualities of a true diplomat are useful for any person, regardless of their chosen profession. Diplomacy as a lifestyle brings benefits to many life choices. Participants are introduced to general intercultural dialogue and concepts of the language of diplomacy. In turn, this allows for the students to gain new knowledge and experience the art of peaceful dialogue eg. Young people are shown that they all live on the same planet and influence it together.
INFO EVENINGS
"Integration, rights, education, upbringing"
Information evenings for mothers with a migrational background show that current needs are clearly amplified as a result of the discussion rounds through new information and increased knowledge, awareness, and positive behavioural change. This encourages us, as the World & Education Fondation, to take the lead in further considering the content of the informative meetings that are important and relevant to our target group and their integration.

INFO EVENINGS
Information evenings help parents who want to support their children in the development of their native language and/or the language of their country of migration. The topic "Growing up multilingual" informs parents about multilingual education, the link between language and integration, and strengthens, motivates and accompanies migrants for the right actions. In cooperation with the cantonal department of education for intercultural education, our foundation helps to find and select a language course. In Mother Language and Culture (HSK) courses, multilingual children and adolescents expand their knowledge of their family language and their parents' culture of origin.
INTERCULTURAL HOLIDAYS AND FESTIVALS
We support and create spaces for children’s events that show how diverse and colourful the culture of different people is. The objective of the project is to promote meetings and exchange of culture between international representatives through these multicultural children’s festivals and events.
